G-Scan

G‑Scan is a rapid rail inspection system that can be deployed on tracks during normal operation. It screens the entire rail cross‑section in a single test by using several guided wave modes simultaneously. As each mode carries energy in different parts of the rail, reflections reveal location of defects such as corrosion in any section, including the foot. The G‑Scan is ideally suited for guided wave screening of: General rail Level crossings Rail welds of all kinds Tunnels
